Our wine vinegar was crowned by the authorities as the only real vinegar in the world.
The image of the king on our historical labels and the crown on the logo represent the official recognition that has been given to the only real vinegar in the world. A well-deserved title and confirmed over time by market experts who recognize and confirm its inimitable majesty.
It is natural that a vinegar plant like Varvello makes the selection of the wine and gives great attention to the cellar and the aging to be its strengths in the production process. Not only with regard to traditional wine vinegar but also to Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI. The ability to select suppliers, wine and cooked grape must is combined with the mastery and calmness typical of the Piedmontese but also of the Modenese in knowing how to wait for the aging to take its course.
In this way the Royal Vinegar was born: Royal because it was crowned for its quality, and Royal because it was a true wine vinegar and a true Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI.
THE TASTE OF KNOWING HOW TO AGE WELL.
The idea of offering the consumer an aged vinegar was one of the great innovations of Varvello, presenting to the public since the 1960s a “table” wine vinegar at 7 degrees, to distinguish it from the “kitchen” vinegar at 6 degrees.
The wisdom and care in aging have therefore become not only an authentic specialty of the house, but a real “brand” of the factory, also for the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI.
The aging of Varvello takes place slowly in Slavonian Oak and American Larch barrels: this particular process gives a body, a flavour and a very particular bouquet and makes them particularly suitable for seasoning any type of salad, cooked and raw vegetables, and for tastefully enrich meat and fish dishes.
Finally, to give the best of ourselves, in the case of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, with wild berries, strawberries and even ice cream.
