An all-Italian History
In 1921, Giovanni Varvello, in warehouses under his home in Via Nizza 135, Turin, founded the "Stabilimento Italiano l'Aceto". Giovanni Varvello was the first in Turin developing the idea

of producing on an industrial scale a product - precisely vinegar, the basic ingredient par excellence - that until then was made by each family directly at home. His intuition was a proven success, as Varvello, in a short time, became one of the largest vinegar producers in Italy. In 1961 he moved to La Loggia, in Strada Nizza 39, where still today the company is headquartered. The company is still managed by the family Varvello, now in its fourth generation of master vinegar makers.

The Varvello has continued to invest over the years, so the plants as well as the fully automated ultramodern bottling line, are operated by staff with which the company established a customized training program. Learn More
